The automated weather station gives current weather data, chance of precipitation (in %), storm warning, out– and indoor temperature, relative humidity.

The station has indicators for: air pressure, precipitation, wind speed and direction.

Other features of the station: saving of weather data on computer, date/time indicator, radio controlled clock, alarm, Sunrise/Sunset, Moon phase.

The detector has sensors for clouds, rain, humidity, temperature, and light.
 
 

Starlight Xpress Camera All-Sky Oculus 180 Mono

Camera for monitoring the sky

A CCD sensor from Sony is used in this camera, which features low dark noise and a very fast electronic shutter. The fish eye lens has a full 180ξ field of view from horizon to horizon.


The Observatory also has:

Conference room with 20 seats;

Exhibition hall with a rich collection of old instruments in astronomy, physics, computers; collection of minerals;

Telescopes control room and astronomer’s office;

Room for theoretical and practice lectures in Astronomy;

All halls and rooms in the Observatory have wall monitors, air conditioners and computers.
